Small Anvil Software LLC is an independent software company in Illinois, United States.

We pick problems we have personally had, build the tool we wanted, and support it properly. There is no roadmap driven by anyone but the people using the software, and no investor who needs the numbers to look a particular way by December.

How we sell

We sell software the old way: you pay once, you own that version, and it keeps running whether or not you ever pay us again.

Updates are included for twelve months after purchase. After that you keep the last version you received, for as long as you like — on your own machine, with no licence check and no expiry. If you want another year of updates, you can buy one. If you do not, nothing you already have stops working.

What we will not do

• Rent you a tool you have already paid for.
• Hold your work inside a file format only we can read.
• Remove a feature you bought and sell it back as a new tier.
• Require an internet connection to run software on your own computer.
